Haltom City, TX – 2 Children Die In Drowning Incident On Springlake Pkwy

Haltom City, TX (September 2, 2019) – Emergency crews report that two young children have succumbed to injuries from a drowning incident on Springlake Parkway.

According to reports, on August 31, emergency crews reported to the scene of a drowning in an apartment community pool in the 6300 block of Springlake Parkway.

One child recovered from the pool, who was identified as a 7-year-old female, was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

A second child, who was identified as a 5-year-old female, was revitalized and transported to the ICU of the hospital. Crews confirmed that the young child succumbed to her injuries late Sunday evening.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
