Canton, TX – Elizabeth Lindsey Killed in Crash on I-20

Canton, TX (September 3, 2019) – On September 2, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 20 just after 5 p.m.

According to reports, 29-year-old Elizabeth Lindsey was traveling down Interstate 20 with her three children when their vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler.

Lindsey and two of her children were ejected from the vehicle

The third child was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated.

Lindsey was rushed to CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

All three children were transported to area hospitals with injuries ranging from moderate to severe.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
