Waller, TX – Latrice Frederick Killed in FM 359 Collision
Waller, TX (September 3, 2019) – On September 3, emergency crews and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that left one dead and four injured.
On September 1, a 2006 white Cadillac, a 2001 Buick Century, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, and a 2012 Honda Accord collided along Farm to Market Road 359.
Further reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety indicate that 34-year-old Latrice Frederick was parked off the side of the shoulder in her Buick, along with 52-year-old Terry Frederick, and 48-year-old Daniel Williams.
Shortly after coming to a rest, they were struck in the rear-end by 37-year-old Angel Aviles-Perez. The impact of the collision sent the Buick into the back of a Honda before colliding with a Hyundai.
After being involved in the collision, Aviles-Perez fled the scene of the incident on foot.
Latrice Frederick, who was pregnant at the time of the collision, was transported to Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston where both she and her unborn child succumbed to injuries.
Terry Frederick, Daniel Williams, and the drivers of both the Honda and the Hyundai were injured and transported to area hospitals for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
