Houston, TX – 1 Person Killed in Crash on S Loop 610

Houston, TX (September 4, 2019) – A crash on the evening of September 3 left one man dead and one in jail.

According to reports from the Houston Police Department, at approximately 7:20 p.m., two vehicles collided along the South Loop 610 near Texas Highway 288.

One man involved in the collision incurred extensive injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Authorities confirmed that the victim later succumbed to his injuries.

A second driver was taken into custody under suspicion of DWI.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
