Terry County, TX – Emmett Mills Killed in FM 303 Collision

Terry County, TX (September 4, 2019) – At approximately 3 p.m. on September 3, emergency crews responded to the scene of a pickup truck collision on Farm to Market Road 303.

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, 80-year-old Emmett Mills was traveling in a 2003 Toyota pickup truck while towing a trailer east along Farm to Market Road 2196.

As Mills proceeded through the intersection at Farm to Market 303, his truck was struck by a 2018 Ford pickup truck towing a trailer north on FM 303. The driver of the Ford, who was identified as 26-year-old Guillermo Osornio, failed to yield the right of way at the intersection.

The driver of the Toyota was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
