Fort Worth, TX – Springlake Pkwy Drowning Victims Identified

Fort Worth, TX (September 5, 2019) – On August 31, emergency crews responded to the scene of a drowning incident at a community pool for an apartment complex located in the 6300 block of Springlake Parkway.

According to reports, a 5-year-old and 7-year-old girl were discovered unresponsive in the pool.

The first child, who was identified as 7-year-old Ivana Mbouna, was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The 5-year-old girl, who was identified as Gervina Mbouna, was admitted into the ICU unit of an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
