Longview, TX – Woman Injured in Fire on Gilmer Rd

Longview, TX (September 5, 2019) – On September 4, the Longview Fire Department responded to the scene of an apartment fire at 714 Gilmer Road around 11:45 p.m.

According to reports, a fire broke out in the complex for unknown reasons. Numerous fire trucks responded to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Crews located an unconscious and unresponsive woman who was caught in the fire inside the apartment.

The injured victim was rushed to a Dallas Hospital for emergency treatment for her injuries. The injured woman was further transported to Parkland Hospital and stated to be in critical condition.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
