Houston, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Brittmoore Rd

Houston, TX (September 6, 2019) – A pedestrian accident in the 1400 block of Brittmoore Road resulted in fatal injuries.

Around 11:30 p.m., on September 5, emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident in the 1400 block of Brittmoore Road near the area of Beltway 8 and Hammerly Boulevard.

According to reports, a man was attempting to cross the street in the area when he was struck by a light-colored Toyota pickup truck.

The vehicle sped away from the incident without stopping to render aid.

The pedestrian incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
