Houston, TX – Injury Wreck Closes 3 Lanes on US 290 at Skinner Rd

Houston, TX (September 8, 2019) – Three lanes were closed as a result of an injury crash that occurred on US 290 Friday evening.

Authorities responded to the wreck around 7:10 p.m. and said that at least two sedans collided on westbound US 290, also called the Northwest Freeway, in Cypress just before Skinner Road. Both were traveling northwest when they collided in the right lanes. Fire rescue squads, as well as paramedics, responded to the scene and assisted those injured by the crash. Witnesses say that three lanes were closed as a result of the wreck but opened approximately an hour after the wreck occurred.

At this time, the injury crash is still under investigation by officials and the drivers’ information has not been released.
