San Antonio, TX – UPDATE: Man Dies After Being Hit at Seguin Rd
San Antonio, TX (September 8, 2019) – A man has died in San Antonio after being struck in a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning.
Police say the incident happened just after 2:00 a.m. at Highway 78 and North Seguin Road intersection. The man was attempting to cross the street when he was hit by a car, driven by a woman traveling on Seguin Road. Officials say that the woman driving the vehicle did stop and render aid to the man.
The woman says she didn’t see the man, who was wearing black clothing at the time of the accident. First responders were on the scene shortly after the incident occurred and transported the man to a local hospital. He arrived to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
At this time, authorities are still investigating the accident and have not said if impairment was a factor.
