Calhoun County, TX – Michael Kelly Burke, Jr Killed in Crash on Hwy 185

Calhoun County, TX (September 9, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision on Texas Highway 185 left one man fatally injured.

According to reports, at approximately 5:24 a.m. on September 6, 35-year-old Michael Kelly Burke, Jr., was attempting to enter the Texas Highway 185 from the Calhoun Chemical Plant, in a Chevy Cavalier, when his vehicle was struck by a GMC Sierra pickup truck.

Burke incurred fatal injuries in the collision. Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced Burke deceased.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
