Austin, TX – Louis Chambers ID’d as I-35 Crash Victim
Austin, TX (September 10, 2019) – The Austin Police Department has identified a victim killed in a pedestrian accident during the early morning hours of September 7.
On Saturday, September 7, just after 2:20 a.m., the Austin Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 6500 block of North IH-35.
According to reports, 32-year-old Louis Chambers was attempting to cross I-35 along the southbound side when he was struck by a green 2011 Ford Focus.
Chambers sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
