Houston, TX – Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Crash on Main St

Houston, TX (September 10, 2019) – At approximately 10:10 p.m. on September 9, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 14100 block of South Main Street.

According to reports, two pedestrians were walking across the roadway when they were struck by a maroon Toyota. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

One of the pedestrians sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

A second victim was critically injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
