Robinson, TX – Hwy 77 Crash Results in Fatal Injuries

Robinson, TX (September 10, 2019) – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) continues investigating a Highway 77 collision that left one driver dead.

On September 10, the Texas DPS responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 4600 block of South Robinson Drive.

According to reports, a Freightliner was traveling southbound along the roadway when it collided head-on with a northbound SUV.

The Freightliner continued forward and left the roadway. After leaving the roadway, the Freightliner overturned and burst into flames.

The driver of the Freightliner was fatally injured and deceased at the scene. The driver of the SUV incurred critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
