Austin, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Collision on US 290
Austin, TX (September 11, 2019) – On September 11, at approximately 4:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of an incident in the 7800 block of East US 290.
According to reports, a man was attempting to cross the roadway near Highway 183 when he was struck by a motor vehicle.
The man, who was in his 40s, sustained fatal injuries. Emergency crews arrived to pronounce the victim deceased on site.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
