Parker County, TX – Jimmy Cain Killed in Crash on State Highway 171

Parker County, TX (September 13, 2019) – On September 12, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on State Highway 171 just south of Doyle Rd around 10:30 a.m.

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling south along State Highway 171 when it collided head-on with a blue 2004 Peterbilt truck tractor with a black 2007 Etnyre tractor-trailer, which was traveling north along the roadway.

The motorcyclist, who was identified as 63-year-old Jimmy Cain, sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
