Clint, TX – George Read Train Crash on Alameda Ave Leaves

Clint, TX (September 16, 2019) – A train crash on Friday claimed one life and sent three others to area hospitals with injuries.

On September 13, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 12200 block of Alameda Ave.

According to reports, a train was passing through the area when it struck a vehicle, which was occupied by four individuals.

Four individuals inside the vehicle were all injured and transported to a local area hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that one victim, 80-year-old George Read, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
