Falls County, TX – Armand Ott Killed in Crash on TX-7

Falls County, TX (September 17, 2019) – On September 17, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major fatal motor vehicle accident on State Highway 7 just 6.5 miles southwest of Marlin.

According to reports, 85-year-old Armand Ott was traveling along the roadway in a Toyota passenger car when his vehicle was struck by a HEMTT recovery truck, which failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto State Highway 7 from State Highway 320.

Ott sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
