San Marcos, TX – Brandon Gutierrez Killed in Crash on W Hopkins St  

San Marcos, TX (September 20, 2019) – On September 20, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 300 block of West Hopkins Street.

According to reports, 37-year-old Brandon Gutierrez was traveling down West Hopkins Street, on a motorcycle, toward the square when his vehicle was struck by a 2017 Nissan Versa near an intersection.

Gutierrez sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officers.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
