San Angelo, TX – 11-Year-Old Injured In Car Collision On W Avenue N
San Angelo, TX (September 21, 2019) A three-car collision occurred on the night of September 20th, causing injury to at least one person.
A 17-year-old was operating a gray Ford Mustang on West Avenue N when she tried to make a quick turn on Austin Street. A collision between the Ford and oncoming white Pontiac ensued. The impact of the collision caused the Mustang to spin out of control and crash into another white Ford Mustang.
The paramedics arrived at the scene and found an 11-year-old passenger inside of the gray Mustang suffering from injuries. The child was taken to the closest local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The police are still investigating the accident, but have issued a citation to the teenage driver.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Car Accidents in Texas
About 36 percent of all car accidents occur at intersections, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Drivers tend to be aggressive at intersections when lights are changing from yellow to red, especially if they’re in a rush or under the influence. A few moments of impatience often results in major collisions that leave those involved suffering for the rest of their lives.
Innocent victims of a car accident have the right to file a personal injury lawsuit and should do so immediately. Meeting with an experienced Texas personal injury lawyer is the best decision an injured victim can make when it comes to being fairly compensated for their injuries.
