Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
The most common cause of almost every pedestrian accident in the United States is the driver’s inattentiveness. Other factors contribute to these accidents, such as confused driving, aggressive driving, drowsy driving, and drunk driving. It’s easier for pedestrians to get hit in the middle of the night during weekends because that’s when drivers tend to be less attentive.
When pedestrians have the right of way and are still struck by vehicles, they have the right to file personal injury lawsuits against all liable parties.
At The Benton Law Firm, we encourage injured victims to file their lawsuits as soon as possible so that their claims remain valid. In fact, the sooner one files a claim, the more money they’re eligible to receive to pay for medical treatment, lost earnings, and more. Contact our office today for a free consultation at (214) 219-4878 if you or a loved one were harmed in a pedestrian accident.
