Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
Studies reveal that 56 percent of motorcycle fatalities are caused by other vehicles. Out of that percentage, 78 percent of vehicles strike motorcycles from the front.
Failing to yield the right of way to motorcycles is one of the main causes of motorcycle accidents. Drivers being too aggressive or distracted causes them to turn or pull out in front of oncoming motorcycles. Because motorcyclists are exposed, it’s easier for them to sustain major injuries that could lead to fatalities.
