College Station, TX – Carly Beatty Succumbs to Injuries from Texas Ave Crash

College Station, TX (September 23, 2019) – On September 14, around 2 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Texas Avenue.

According to reports, 19-year-old Carly Beatty was walking back to her house with friends when she was struck by a Nissan Pathfinder near University Drive.

Beatty was airlifted from the scene of the incident to a local area hospital. While in the hospital, Beatty underwent various surgeries and received extensive medical treatment for her injuries.

Unfortunately, authorities confirmed that on September 22, Beatty succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the Pathfinder, 17-year-old Pedro Puga, was arrested and charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle and various other charges.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
