Houston, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Bellfort St

Houston, TX (September 24, 2019) – A pedestrian accident in the 5900 block of Bellfort Street left one victim deceased.

According to reports, on September 13 just after 5:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Bellfort Street.

Reports from the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division state that a 75-year-old pedestrian was traveling along the roadway. As the individual attempted to cross Bellfort Street near the intersection of Belgard Street, they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The female victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

A second pedestrian, who was identified as a 54-year-old male, was injured and transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
