Alvarado, TX – Man Fatally Injured by Train on County Rd 401
Alvarado, TX (September 25, 2019) – Just before 1:44 a.m. on September 25, the Alvarado Police Department, alongside emergency medical services, responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on County Road 401.
According to reports, a 34-year-old male was walking across the train tracks on County Rd 401 near FM 3136/I35W when he was struck by a train.
Police responded to the scene and located the body of the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
