Houston, TX – 2 Pedestrians Killed in Crash on W Sam Houston Tlwy

Houston, TX (September 25, 2019) – On Tuesday, September 24, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the West Sam Houston Tollway.

According to reports, two pedestrians were under the overpass of West Sam Houston Tollway near Beechnut Street.

As the two victims slept under the overpass, they were struck by a motor vehicle, which was fleeing the scene of an earlier accident.

The two victims were fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the car exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
