Lubbock, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Accident on 46th St

Lubbock, TX (September 26, 2019) – On September 26, just after midnight, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 46th Street.

According to reports, a male pedestrian was attempting to cross 46th Street at the intersection of Quaker Avenue when he was struck by a motor vehicle.

The pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital for medical treatment. Authorities confirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving.

At this time, the Lubbock Police Department is investigating the incident.
