Odessa, TX – Nau Ulate Killed in Collision on I-20BL
Odessa, TX (September 26, 2019) – On September 25, at approximately 1:45 a.m., emergency crews in Odessa responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 2400 block of West 2nd St (I-20BL).
According to reports, 32-year-old Nau Ulate was traveling on a motorcycle down 2nd Street when he crashed his vehicle. After the initial collision, Nau Ulate was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe.
Ulate sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, who was later identified as Edgar Ibarra, was found to be intoxicated at the time of the incident. Ibarra was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
