San Angelo, TX – 15-Year-Old Student Injured in Crash on E 43rd St

San Angelo, TX (September 26, 2019) – At approximately 8 a.m. on September 25, emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on East 43rd St in front of Lake View High School.

According to reports, a 15-year-old student exited a 2009 Chevrolet HHR, which was properly parked on the curb. After exiting, the female teen walked in front of the Chevrolet. Just as she went in front of the vehicle, the HHR was rear-ended by a 2004 Honda CRV, causing the HHR to roll into the student. The impact of the collision knocked the girl to the ground. After landing, she was run over by the CRV.

The student was injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
