San Antonio, TX – 1 Killed & 2 Injured in Electrocution Accident on Chesswood Dr

San Antonio, TX (September 27, 2019) – At approximately 10 a.m. on September 26, emergency crews responded to the scene of a workplace incident in the 110 block of Chesswood Drive.

According to reports, three individuals were cutting down trees when they struck an electric line.

One victim, who was identified as 38-year-old Mike Zuniga sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Emergency crews discovered 55-year-old Santos Ortiz and 56-year-old Jose Maciel seriously injured. Both victims were transported to an area hospital where they were admitted in critical condition.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
