Austin, TX – Child Killed in Pedestrian Accident on E Yager Ln

Austin, TX (September 29, 2019) On the evening of September 28th, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred on East Yager Lane around 10:15 p.m. According to reports, a vehicle struck an 8-year-old boy between the 400-900 block of East Yager Lane, near Tech Ridge Boulevard, just east of Interstate 35.

When the Austin Police Department and EMS arrived, they found the child lying in the road with fatal injuries. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The accident is still under investigation by officials.
