Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

Round Rock, TX – 3-Year-Old Killed In Pedestrian Accident On Harrell PkwyIn 2015, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that one in every five children killed in traffic accidents were pedestrians.  When drivers back out of a driveway or parking space without carefully scanning the area, they are more likely to accidentally strike a child. Back over accidents are a common cause of child pedestrian accidents. Another common cause is distracted driving, which includes drivers using their cell phones instead of being aware of their surroundings.
