Beaumont, TX – Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Washington Ave

Beaumont, TX (September 30, 2019) – Just after midnight on September 29, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 2800 block of Washington Avenue.

According to reports, a 72-year-old female was attempting to cross Washington Avenue, when she was struck by a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe, which was traveling west along the roadway.

The female sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
