Wood County, TX – Collision on FM-515 Results in Fatal Injuries
Wood County, TX (September 30, 2019) – On September 28, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Rd 515 just four miles northwest of Yantis.
According to reports, 44-year-old Jennifer Annette Dougherty was traveling west along FM-515 in a 2001 Ford Escape when her vehicle collided with an eastbound 2016 Chevrolet ambulance, which was driven by 24-year-old Erica Lynn Blalock.
Dougherty sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Blalock was injured and transported to Christus Mother Francis Hospital for treatment.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
