Martin County, TX –Robert Hughes Killed in Collision on I-20
Martin County, TX (October 1, 2019) – At approximately 2:30 a.m. on September 20th, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate-20.
According to reports, 83-year-old Robert Hughes was traveling west along the interstate in a 2015 Kia Sorrento when his vehicle collided head-on with an eastbound 2019 Freightliner.
Hughes sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
The two occupants of the Freightliner were uninjured in the collision.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
