La Villa, TX – Pedestrian Injured in Crash on St Hwy 107

LA Villa, TX (October 2, 2019) – On October 2nd, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 107 near Mile 2 West.

According to reports from the La Villa Police Department, a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when they were struck by a silver Ford Taurus.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

The pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision. The victim was rushed to an area hospital where they underwent emergency surgery.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
