Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Unfortunately, thousands of pedestrians are hit and killed by vehicles every year throughout the country. Studies show that the amount of teenagers that lose their lives in pedestrian accidents is twice as much as young children. Studies have also proven that most fatal pedestrian accidents are caused by negligent drivers. Teenage drivers are amongst the largest group of people responsible for pedestrian accidents since they are easily distracted by their phones while driving.
Families who have lost loved ones in pedestrian accidents may have the right to file wrongful death lawsuits depending on the details of their case.
At The Benton Law Firm, we work hard to help families win their wrongful death lawsuits against reckless drivers. It’s unfortunate to suddenly lose a loved one in a pedestrian accident, especially if the loved one was not at fault. Families should not be responsible for medical or funeral expenses if their loved one was not at fault, which is why our attorneys fight for their rights. Contact our office for a free consultation at (214) 219-4878 if you lost a loved one in a pedestrian accident.
