Austin, TX (October 8, 2019) – A pedestrian versus train crash on Banister Lane left one male victim fatally injured.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., on October 7, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Banister Lane.

According to reports, a male pedestrian was traveling along the roadway near Garden Villa Ln when he was struck by a train.

The man sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
