Houston, TX – Maria Carrillo ID’d as Bellfort St Crash Victim

Houston, TX (October 8, 2019) – On October 8, the Houston Police Department released the name of a victim killed in a collision on Bellfort St.

At approximately 5 a.m. on September 13, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Bellfort St.

Reports from the scene indicate that Maria Carrillo was attempting to cross the street near the intersection of Belgard St with her husband, Curpertino Castillo, when she was struck by a motor vehicle.

The driver of the white SUV involved in the collision fled the scene of the accident.

Carrillo sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
