El Paso, TX – 6-Year-Old Struck & Killed on Thorn Ave

El Paso, TX (October 9, 2019) – On October 9, at approximately 7:54 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Thorn Ave.

According to reports, a 14-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl were attempting to cross Thorn Ave near Ridge Dr, in front of Oran Roberts Elementary School, when the duo was struck by a motor vehicle.

The 14-year-old sustained minor injuries and was provided medical attention.

The 6-year-old sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Police confirmed that the child succumbed to her injuries.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
