Louise, TX – 2 Firefighters Injured in Pedestrian Crash on FM 647
Louise, TX (October 10, 2019) – On October 7th, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Rd 647.
According to reports, fireman Stephen Henderson and another coworker were checking a tire on their firetruck when both were struck by a pickup truck, which was driven by a third fireman.
Both Henderson and the second firefighter sustained serious injuries in the collision. Henderson was transported via a medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment. The second victim was rushed to an area hospital immediately following the collision.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
