Car Accidents in Texas
An accident was reported every 60 seconds in Texas last year. The leading cause of almost every reported collision was negligence. Most often, drivers are on their cell phones at the time of an accident. Other distractions that could cause an accident may be speeding, driving under the influence, ignoring traffic laws, and more. When drivers choose to drive irresponsibly, everyone on the road is at risk of sustaining serious injuries or losing their lives.
Injured victims can file personal injury lawsuits against negligent drivers if they’re able to prove that other parties were responsible for the crash.
At The Benton Law Firm, we encourage injured victims to contact our office if they were not at fault for their collision.
