San Marcos, TX – Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on W San Antonio St

San Marcos, TX (October 15, 2019) – A hit-and-run accident on October 13 left one person seriously injured.

At approximately 2:15 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on West San Antonio St.

According to reports, a 23-year-old male pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway near the intersection of North Guadalupe Street, when he was struck by a white sedan.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the incident without stopping to render aid.

The injured pedestrian was found lying in the roadway unconscious. The male was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries.

At the time, the collision remains under investigation with the San Marcos Police Department.
