Louise, TX – Steven Henderson Succumbs to Injuries from FM 647 Crash
Louise, TX (October 16, 2019) – A Firefighter succumbed to his injuries from the October 7 accident on FM 647.
On October 7, Fireman Stephen Henderson and another coworker were stopped along Farm to Market Rd 647, checking on the tire of their fire truck. As the two men were looking over their vehicle, they were both struck by a pickup truck, which was driven by a third fireman.
Henderson was critically injured in the incident and rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital by medical helicopter. The second victim was also injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that on Saturday, October 12, 60-year-old Steven Henderson succumbed to his injuries while in the hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
