El Paso, TX – Matilde Martinez Romero Killed in North Loop Dr Crash

El Paso, TX (October 17, 2019) – One Victim involved in the N Loop Drive crash succumbs to her injuries.

On October 15, at approximately 6:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 8000 block of North Loop Drive.

According to reports, 77-year-old Matilde Martinez Romero was traveling along North Loop Drive in a 2005 Nissan Sentra when her vehicle collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Trax, driven by 62-year-old Delia Gallegos Munoz.

Martinez Romero was critically injured in the collision and transported to University Medical Center for treatment. Authorities confirmed that the victim later succumbed to her injuries.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
