Highlands, TX – Bicyclist Fatally Injured in Crash on Barbers Hill Rd
Highlands, TX (October 22, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a crash on Barbers Hill Road Monday saving his fiancée’s life.
At approximately 7 p.m. on October 21, a male bicyclist was riding down Barbers Hill Road with his fiancée. As the couple passed through the intersection of Madeline Street, the male bicyclist shoved his partner off her bike. Immediately after, the male was struck from behind by a motorist.
The male was fatally injured in the collision and pronounced deceased at the scene. Thankfully, his fiancé survived the incident.
At this time, police are investigating the incident.
