Galveston, TX – Police Officer Injured in Crash on FM 3005
Galveston, TX (October 25, 2019) – A collision on Farm to Market Road 3005 left one person injured.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on October 24, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 16000 block of Farm to Market Road 3005. According to reports, a Galveston police car was assisting in apprehending a suspect when the officer’s vehicle was struck.
The impact of the collision then sent the officer’s vehicle into the car of the Jamaica Beach Police car.
The officer sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
