Eastland County, TX – 1 Killed and 2 Injured in Fatal Crash on I-20

Eastland County, TX (October 26, 2019) A fatal car crash happened on Interstate 20 on the afternoon of October 25th. According to reports, a vehicle was traveling on the highway when it suddenly hydroplaned, crossed the median, and crashed into an International truck and trailer. The accident took place at around 3:15 p.m.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found the driver in the smaller vehicle with fatal injuries. He has been identified as 45-year-old Christopher Lawren Whitehead of Breckenridge.

The driver of the truck sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Stephenville for treatment. The passenger inside of the truck was also injured, but paramedics took the victim to Eastland Memorial Hospital for further care.

The accident is still under investigation by authorities.
