Houston, TX- 10-Year-Old Killed in Katy Freeway Accident

Houston, TX (October 28, 2019) – A drunk driver on the Katy Freeway caused a fatal collision on Sunday.

On October 27, 37-year-old Felix Marcelino Vega was traveling down Interstate 10 when he struck a Honda Civic near the intersection of Taylor Street.

A 10-year-old girl inside the vehicle was critically injured and rushed to Texas Children’s Hospital. On October 28, authorities confirmed the young girl succumbed to her injuries and passed away.

Vega was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.

At this time, police are investigating the incident.
