Orange, TX – US-90 (I-10) Crash Victims Identified by Police

Orange, TX (October 31, 2019) – Two victims killed in Interstate 10 collision were identified by police.

At approximately 5 a.m. on October 30, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 10. According to reports, A GMC pickup truck was traveling down the roadway when it failed to control its speed and collided with five other vehicles, which were stopped at a red light.

Two people inside the first car struck by the GMC were fatally wounded.

The two victims, later identified as 40-year-old Vernon Morris and 45-year-old Alvin Beck, both were declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the GMC, 29-year-old Jesse Griffin, was arrested and charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.

At this time, police are investigating.
